We are very appreciative of our geographic, cultural, and religious heritage. Berlin is an area of mix and diversity. It offers much of the old and of the new, the Amish and the English, and the slow paced and the modern.

Our Manor House was developed from a Victorian mansion. This mansion was constructed in 1883 from a farm house built in the mid 1800's. Each of the rooms in the mansion are individually furnished and some of them feature such items as stained glass windows, cut crystal doors and original woodwork.

This 18th century field stone farmhouse is one of the oldest homes in Bird-in-Hand. It was part of the original tract consisting of 200 acres that William Penn's sons issued by a patent to Joseph Steer in 1736. The Homestead, bordering Mill Creek, included mills, barn and tobacco barns. Much of this same lifestyle can still be experienced today due to the Amish influence.
